| Description |
Leaf deciduous, 50-60 cm long and 4.5 cm wide, upright, normal green, base green. Peduncle 100 cm, rather stout, green with violet tint, more or less flat. Inflorescence 23 cm across, 50-80 flowers, globular, bud opens on 2 sides. Pedicel green and dull purple speckled. Flowerbud: dark violet-blue especially at base, upright. Flower inside pale violet-blue 93D but paler towards base, midrib darker 93C, margin with purple tint, outside violet-blue with purple tint, midrib more purple at apex, base darker, when out of flower more dull white-purple, horizontal, 3.5 cm long (tube 1.2 cm long), 3.5 cm across, stamens not exserted, anthers dark violet. |
